No two customers are alike. Listen to their needs and do everything you can to meet them.
AccuStat started as a medical transcription company in 2002. As the market changes, AccuStat follows the change in moving our primary focus to EMRs as well as transcription. AccuStat currently still has numerous transcription clients and we gain more each year. Our methods of dictation and transcription are completely digital with all documents located on a secure web area called an ASP (accustat.mytranscribe.com). These documents can then be accessed at any time by the client via the web or, they can be downloaded in real time to the client’s EMR if they have implemented one via a custom dot tag or HL7 interface. This transcription method keeps in line with transitioning medical offices to being paperless and helps them get ready for full EMR implementation if they have not already.
When EMRs became mandatory, AccuStat decided to take a different route instead of being another one of the 400+ software companies on the market. Since AccuStat managers are composed primarily of medical staff (and we will continue to require that our managers and consultants have this background), we decided to focus more on consultation in order to help educate the medical community about the EMR systems available and to decide which system would best fit their practice. Our consultants all have at least 5 years of medical background so, we are able to approach our clients with the first-hand knowledge of how a medical office operates.
The primary customers that AccuStat EMR focuses on with our web site for EMR consultation are the small to medium-sized ambulatory medical facilities located in the southeastern U.S. expanding from the DC area to Alabama. AccuStat works hand-in-hand with physicians that are looking for consulting for EMR and/or PM system purchase and implementation as well as network and hardware purchase and implementation to coordinate with the software.
